How do you "shop" for a punt?

When I want a punt I typically work out who is currently working on my hotlist offering the services I want and call based on proximity and price until I get an arrangement.  I may bump an SP up the priority if I think they are particularly interesting, convenient, good value or likely to be unavailable soon. 

Do you pick out one SP or call around?  What determines your order of priority? How important is price, proximity, "likes" and service in your decision?  Is you approach completely different?

I have a hot list like most others but those tend to be either £40 dump runs or £100, also depends on what time I have available and where I am and of course what girls are working in a distance of 5 miles.

Usually a last minute search in the area that I find myself in.

Rarely, if I can, I’ll arrange or plan something in advance, but leave comms to the day.

Even more rarely, I’ll book off the back of a + review here.

I normally look on AW to see the newest in my local area based on services and looks and if no one appeals I go to one of my guaranteed regulars

Yep, very important to mix new prospects in with regulars in order to keep the hotlist in a healthy state.

review my "escort prem" hotlist for green lights/review my default hotlist for green lights/ if these draw blanks I will set my preferred budget and travel distance from the office (if I am feeling lazy it will be 2 miles,max I will travel for a shag is 5) and search awank.

From there its just based on mood and if any profiles catch my eye,might cross reference a few with reviews on here first and then away I go

I only punt for specific services, so that's the prime driver for me. The WG has to deliver those services or at least the vast majority of them.

After that, it's the ever dwindling list of reliable WG's and see who's available.

Just a note on this.  A couple of years ago I saw a comment here about how unreliable the green light indicator is.  Since then I largely disregard it as I found a lot of popular SP's don't use it often if at all (MiaNaughty, Viv, Honey Bell as but three examples).  It has been covered before but you can get a more detailed view of the login activity of those in your hotlist in the desktop version of Adultwork by clicking <search> <My Hotlist> then clicking again on <My Hotlist>  which reveals a new window with all your lists.  Clicking then on the + sign to the left reveals a list of SPs on each list with the date and time of the most login and profile update.  In my experience, working out which SP's are actually working is most accurately determined though a combination of who is logging in, has their phone number displayed, is altering their profile as well as the more obvious answering calls and showing a green light.

I generally search the local area and see who’s got their green light on. If one takes my fancy I’ll text to begin with.

I have also read the teen light isn’t reliable but I generally stick to it. Probably due to not trusting that they sent showing as working for a reason or on their refs but will try and clean up in the hope of a little bit extra cash.

If I know I’m going to be in a certain area on a certain day I’ll look ahead and try and arrange something ahead of time. Otherwise same again, have a look on the day.

I usually start looking in the morning, which isn’t the best time but I like to punt earlier in the day. This means some WG’s haven’t even started yet.

Agreed this makes it trickier.  I have tried calling day before to qualify and make a provisional booking but it is hit and miss.

Mine same as yours pretty much. I've seen me start looking in the morning and sometimes by 11.30 I've most likely given up as I'm wasting too much of the day.
I'd rather see a regular.
Sometimes I look up in the afternoon by chance only to see some one off my HL and think shit, should have looked early by which time too late for me to get out.

When I do that for the next day I’m usually told call tomorrow lol. Unless it’s a WG that takes things serious that is. The weekly movers don’t bother with it.

to be honest mate when I am punting spur of the moment the green light has never failed me,I have always managed to get a punt arranged within a few calls
