External Link/Members OnlyI was in Darlo for the morning and on the way back thought I'd see if a last minute booking was on offer. I walked in just before 1pm and was given an immediate appointment. Jasmine's is right by the station and in the next street to The Hippodrome. It advertises itself with a neon sign in the window and inside its a bit run down but not scruffy and shabby like the Sunderland hairdressers. I've been here before but not for a long time and it seems like the setup has changed. Annie is on the reception desk and manages the place now. There was someone else there but it seemed to me that Annie herself was doing all the work. There's CCTV in reception which is relayed through to the massage rooms so I'm guessing staffing is short.
Annie's a pleasant and, to my eyes, attractive Chinese lass in her 40s. Petite, slim and small-breasted with long dark hair and a nice smile. Price is the standard £40/hour with HE for an extra £20. The massage room is clean and warm with a proper massage table. The massage was good. Thorough and effective with easy and relaxed conversation which I prefer to a silent masseuse. Annie has a nice touch and does not use excessive amounts of oil. After a good 35/40 minute workout which, towards the end included some reaching underneath and teasing, she asked the HE question.
