I rang for an appointment around 10am late last week for an an hours booking at 5pm.
During the call I enquiries if any of the new girls were working and would be available and was assured there was a very pretty girl there and available. Confirmed the booking and the time.

Arrived in Newcastle a little early and parked nearby. At 4.45 I recieved a text sayin sorry can you come in at 5.35, just one girl today she is busy. WTF I have a booking so they obviously accepted a walk up.
Replied sorry but I'll go somewhere else.
They then offered the appointment at a £10 discount which eased things a little.
Ordered another drink and waited the extra half hour or so.
When I walked into the shop 45 minutes later, I was greeted by a very plain mid to late forties woman with a pot belly.
Hoping this was the receptionist I told her I was here for my appointment.
She then asked for full amount for the appointment and told me she was the one doing the massage.
Needless to say I turned around and walked out.
Take care if you make an appointment, maybe it's better to just take a chance with a walk up.

Ming the other guys are right it’s Newcastle-under-Lyme.
It also says Stoke on Trent in the main gumtree link I posted.
Must admit It’s a pain when doing a search on gumtree for any service there.

I appreciate you were messed about on this visit but it might not have been because she took a walk up appointment.  I must admit when I went a couple of months ago I was 10 minutes late.  To be fair the lady gave me the full hour and therefore that is why there was a guy waiting kicking his heels to be let in when I left.  Apologies to whoever that was.  It only needs that to happen a few times or around a particular time of day, if they are busy, and there is your half hour.  It obviously was frustrating for you but it could have been just people like me running late.  Better luck next time.

I tend to agree with the OP.

My experience with shops is that, although they ask you to make an appointment, they will accept whoever walks in or don't check that the person who walks in is the person who has booked.

Additionally they will allow a half hour person to extend even if there is someone booked in after.
