I don't think the problem would be SPs who, as you suggest, want discretion as much as the punters. However, if the SP is working out of an AirB&B, rented room or even a hotel they don't know what landlords or employees have installed. If the landlord knows that the rent is to an SP, then they can be sure of getting some "good footage". As ever, there are risks associated with punting, and we accept them, mitigate where we can and make our own decisions.

Apologies you are correct. I have to watch dozens of these covert clips each day before cataloguing them and am sometimes a bit careless with the detail.

On a more serious note voyeurism (including landlords) are nothing new. Small hidden cameras are also not especially new technology, but have improved considerably in more recent times in terms of high definition recording and 'connectivity', particularly in relation to linking to mobile phones.

I'm not sure overall there are more voyeurs and risk now than historically?

The only reason an SP would really have to secretly film a punter would be to blackmail them after. Considering how rare reports of blackmail are on here, I can only conclude it's not really a worry.

Any identifying footage of a punter in the act would effectively out the SP too, and while paying for sex is legal, selling sex may be enough to get a tenancy revoked, and operating a brothel would get the SP into legal trouble.

A punter worrying about their activities being made public would be better off focusing on their discretion to and from the punt, that's when you're most likely to be spotted and require a cover story.

I always got the weirdest intuition this Chinese place I went used hidden cameras.

It was a guy in his 30s who opened the door of the flat and ushered me in. And at the exact moment I had finished the deed with the lass and was beginning to get dressed, I heard him leave his room and stand outside the corridor to usher me out.


On porn sites, there are 1000s of these escorts hidden camera videos - I've later come to find. And some of them I gather are broadcasted live to certain Chinese sites.

There's a sliver of paranoia in me they could do something like this as an extra revenue stream. Charge punters as well as get some cash for the digital 'content' that's created, selling it to their local market.
