Have been to Baan Thai in Strawberry Hill a number of times.
Hardly seems worth posting a review, since my experiences match that of others recorded here. But..here goes
I have always had more or less exactly the full hour paid for here, nobody is trying to cut the session short. You pay the initial £45 for an hour at the reception.
It's a proper, clean (and well-run) massage parlour, with good sized rooms, where you will get a full body massage with oil, but with sexy touching if you mention that you want that, but from my experience, nothing else extra, apart from a HE, is available. Touching is not encouraged....and is usually politely declined. YMMV. Never got any topless or nude in my irregular visits over 2 years.
I usually leave my wallet on the chair with a £20 note sicking out. As a result, I have never been asked if i wanted HE nor have had to actually ask for it.
I usually strip off completely and lay face down with no towel over me, before the masseuse arrives in the room, just to get the point across.
The normal routine seems to be...a short period of massage with a towel put back over your bum to warm up, then the towel then comes off, (or you ask to have it removed or can pull it off). More massage of the back, including some sexy touching as time goes on. Asked to turn over to face up for the attentive HE, after which a clean up and more massage (of the front of the body) with a head massage if there's time. They seem to time it so that there's time for more massage after the HE. Shower is available.
The ladies are polite, usually late 20s/30s, cheerful and usually fairly attractive (never met a chubby/fatty there yet). English often rather limited.
So..if you go there for a proper massage ( I only ever have the medium, not the the full hard Thai version), you probably won't be disappointed. New girls come and go, but its not like a typical chinese "now you see them now you don't" operation. The girls seem to stay for some time.....so when you go back, you can be pretty sure of seeing the girl you had last time, depending on their rota.
I'm aware this sounds like an advertisement for the salon, but it's just an accurate reflection what they provide.
