I didn't visit for ages until a few months back and i've been a few times now.
Location wise it is right on the main road with lots of cars passing in "waves" due to the phasing of lights and probably fells a bit more exposed than before but the old place also had plenty of traffic which could queue right back up to the entrance.
I would say the new place has less pedestrian footfall so less likely to be seen but more likely people know where you are going or been, have to say it's not really concerned me though and like the old place once i'm 50 metres down the road and around the corner i'm just Mr nobody.
Entrance off the main road is through a door which is open and you stand in the small area between the inner and outer door then ring the bell to be let in so not left standing for ages feeling awkward.
I only ever used 2 of the old rooms and only 1 of the new rooms as my visits have been 15 or 30 minutes (think they have different / better rooms for the longer bookings).
The old place was getting a bit tired and the new is in better condition as it's presumably newly refurbished, that said I think they have majorly fucked up not putting showers in the rooms
and when i've used the bathroom for a piss the lock doesn't work properly (i've had a punter and a WG walk in on me) so not good if you want a shower.
