First time post, but have been checking this site for ages 

So I contacted juicylucy93 (details at the bottom) / Jay Lea about a quick booking as I was in the area. Process was going smoothly until she said she wanted a deposit because someone had paid her in fake notes before.

Although semi plausible, alarm bells were ringing and several sms's and WhatsApp messages later (including her sending me photos of her at that time, apparently) and she is giving a convincing description of the area (I had a postcode on Brownhill Rd in SE6) that I was standing in... Until she starts describing a garage that has changed to a different brand (different petrol supplier and grocery shop provider)! Brilliant!

Needless to say I said no thanks and went on my way.

Interestingly I've checked Google Street View and it has the garage as she described so I guess she is using that as her information source.

Oh, you silly silly people... Come on. This had scam all over it. Hope others reading this will learn from your mistake.

Well done for posting and exposing.

Put in a dispute with PayPal... Don't mention AW, make some reasonable crap up. Everyone who's been effected should. You may not get your money back but that account will get frozen and it'll put these lot off.

Here's what iv done in the past hen someone has asked for upfront payment, ask to see their ID and say you'll only put money into an account that under their name. The stories you'll hear about why they can't and why they're using so and so's account will be amusing.
