What's the booking process when using DayUse.com - it says you don't have to use a credit card when booking, do you simply book online with email your time/day etc and pay cash at the hotel when you arrive?

Ive paid in cash loads of times at day use. They dont require a credit card to secure the booking cos if you dont turn up, its not a problem for them, the room had already been serviced for the night guests anyway, and most want you out in time so they can get it ready for the next guest if busy.
Also oyou dont need to give credit card at check in if you dont want to, for charging purposes etc.

did a dayuse booking on friday....booked by card, no payment required. use of room from 10.00am til 6.00.  Lady (ok, she's no lady) due to arrive at 11.30. Thought I'd get in a shower and watch the test match for 1/2 an hour or so prior to her arrival
turned up at 10.30....room not ready....quoted my booking ref etc and the trainee on the desk claims this is not necessary (bit odd)...hung around til 11.00 getting increasingly agitated. eventually the room is ready at 11.15... She rocks up early (!!) and phones just as I'm checking in...potential embarrasment all round. she waits in the car, until I'm in the room. fortunately she's a pro who I've known a while and sees the funny side but with a more highly strung WG I could see it going south...
The problem could have been with hotel ineptitude, or with dayuse...but its put me off dayuse somewhat.

I think it's the hotel. I've called ahead before to indicate what time is be checking in (30mins prior to punt) and got in without any issue but the hotel was a 5-star joint as opposed to some grotty Holiday Inn.

I use the site on a monthly basis and it works really well.  I always pay cash, sometimes I  have had to show ID (depends on the hotel).

The issue highlighted regarding rooms not being ready is a hotel issue and has very little to do with dayuse.

You've experience of using the site, have you been able to book the hotel in s punting name, for discretion purposes because some escorts call the hotel or ask for your room number then call the room to make sure your there, rather keep it all anonymous. As for ID is a credit card ok?

A lot of this will depend on the hotel you've booked. It's sensible to check in before she arrives. Whether you call her and give her the room number will really depend on whether you need a keycard to access lifts. Some hotels are like that but not all. If it is keycard entry you will need to meet her in the lobby. You will be able to use the restaurant. If you want to charge items back to your room then reception will need to swipe a card when you check in and create a credit account. Otherwise you can use the hotel restaurant as a non-resident and pay at the end of your meal.

Thanks for the info, no paper trail wanted so cash all the way for me. She is arriving at 10am and I have the room from 9 so best I get there an hour before to make sure on the things you have mentioned. Going to be nervous as hell on the day but for me that normally makes for a better session.

You can, and I have.  I just set up an email account with name to use for day use booking. Turned up, paid cash with no ID. 

I can't remember if day use or the other similar site, but they usually have a note on the hotel if they might require ID

I always book the hotel in my real name incase ID is requested. I use a drivers license for ID. I have high enough feedback on AW not to be perceived as a time waster. I recently had a girl ask for my room number and name to check.  I do not give it under any circumstances to AW girls.  This happens to me on AW 1 in 50 bookings, so barely ever.  I know that this can be a problem with agency bookings but I tend to shy away from them. Maxes are tricky, Diva depends on the day!  If I have to throw caution to the wind I use a variant of my surname for agency bookings.  But I have to stress I avoid agencies as much as I can.

Just to double check I phoned the hotel directly earlier and the room booking has been confirmed by them. Now would you guys get in touch with another couple of escorts to see how they were fixed just in case the first one doesn't turn up for whatever reason?. Would hate to be stuck in an empty room on my own!

I have used the Days Hotel in Derby, booked through "between9and5.com" which requires an email address (i have a gmail one for punting) but not payment

They had a rule which required twice the room charge if paying cash, as a form of deposit, you then get it back when leaving.

Not sure if this is the standard rule?
