I don't have a whole lot of money but I am looking to visit a girl but I'm completely new to the whole thing.

Any advice/recommendations will be gratefully received.

I am nervous but incredibly excited by the prospect.

Hi, read the Punting Wiki - new to punting at the bottom of this page. Choose a girl, away you go. forget your 15 min thing, save up for 30 mins.

If you don't have much disposable income don't do it! your destined to be skint all your life once you start this hobby, that's the best advice I can give you.
