Hi
Not sure if this is the right area to ask?
Anyone no if the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead reception area is easy to walk past to a room without being asked anything by them?
Cheers

Lifts nowhere near reception, don't have to pass it,  and because there's a bar, meeting rooms, spa etc doubt you'd be questioned  :)

Concur with Holly. Reception is massive open plan area. Go in revolving doors. 3 or 4 individual reception desks 25 yards away in front of you. Veer left to the lifts/bar area. Easy.

Do what everyone else does in that place mate....clamp a phone to your ear and talk loudly pretending to be some vastly important buisnessman and you`ll not be bothered

I have never had any trouble in that hotel, for me those hotels are better. Lots of people going in and out.

Just walk in, staff change over and have no idea who checks in over shift changes.
I walked into the Jesmon Hotel last week, they have a tiny lobby and I just walked past them and said "hi :D" and they didnt say owt.
Traveloge is actually probably the worst as they require keys for lifts/door to lift usually
