Not sure if this technically counts as a negative review as the meeting never happened but I wanted to make others aware of the scary thing I experienced.

I arranged a meeting for today at her flat in the W14 area of Hammersmith. Comms were fine, postcode communicated by text, made the usual call while arriving in her street and was given the exact address. This is however where the scary bit starts. I rang her bell and was buzzed into the building immediately. She's in a flat on the first floor and when I came up I saw 2 police officers standing in front of her flat knocking on her door. My brain went in overdrive... I couldn't turn around as surely that would have caused suspicion, so instead I put on my most confident face and asked if something was the matter, pretending to continue to one of the flats above. The Police responded that nothing was going on so I continued to go up the stairs....where I found out there was only one floor above and nowhere for me to go. So I stood there awkwardly for about 10 minutes while they continued knocking on lovely Natali's door. Thankfully they must have assumed I lived somewhere upstairs and had gone into my flat as they didn't come and check it out (although obviously no doors had been opened or closed since I passed them)
Anyway, after about 10 mins (which felt like an eternity) they concluded no one was going to open the door so they left...

Needless to say I rushed out of the building shortly after, not exactly being in a punting mood anymore.

Also slightly put off TOFTT and will stick to the established names on this forum. And to end on a more positive note.... I didn't spend any money

Did you contact the girl to find out what that might have been about? Could have been totally innocent...  :D

Offline HipsterNoBeard

Haha, very likely. She might have reported her lost cat 30 mins before a scheduled punt  :diablo:

By the way, I did send her a text on my way out asking what was going on, but no response surprisingly.

Very curious what the police wanted tbh. Wonder if she knew it was the police considering you were supposed to arrive at the same time. Lucky you were 10secs later than the police.

Lucky one mate! I wonder how she knew how not to open the door to the rozzers when she had buzzed you in?

Proberbly saw about 20 flashing blue lights outside!

Im always up for some adventure during my punt to make it more memorable but this post right here took it to another level :D

That must have been a terrible experience :( I would have went into a panic mode straight away  :D

By the way, even if things went ugly, what would have happened? Punting in UK is legal right?

Maybe she can see through the peephole, or maybe the police announced aloud about who they are. :unknown:

Don't think I would have gone in seeing 20 flashing blue lights in front of the building :-)

Reason why she didn't open was probably because the police tend to have a bit more forceful knock compared to the quiet, timid knock of your average punter...

Punting individually is legal, yes. Entering a premises that contains more than one SP is classified as a brothel, however. That isn't so easily tolerated by the rozzers. So if there were two WGs in there, could be problematic.

Nice swerve, OP  :hi:
 - think I might have attempted to gain entry to the roof if that was happening to me  :D

How do places like HoD not get raided then? Or do they? Not exactly making it difficult to find them?

Apparently - (well, reading from earlier posts on UKP) - the owner is ex-copper and maintains good relations with his previous colleagues.

Wonder if he gifts them a couple of shags each week, pro bono

I have always wondered what are your rights if the cops do stop you and ask for your details. Do you have to give details? I sometimes have visions of a cop approaching me as I leave a premises and asking all sorts of questions. I'd prefer to give no info and details, but I suppose that could prove problematic. If I piss them off they could make things more difficult for me. Had anyone ever had a run in with the cops either during or after a punt?

Well played OP. That must have been brown trousers time.

Presumably if she didn't let the police in, she knew it was them. More importantly, she buzzed the OP in AFTER they arrived. Can only suggest the cunning bitch hoped to use you as a distraction! (Note to self, consider changing username to avoid tempting fate).

As to the above comments about lack of raids, the rozzers generally turn a blind eye - unless someone complains. This girl must have had nosey neighbours.
