I don't think the odd star or UKP darling pushing their price up is necessarily that informative.  Rather, the number of girls currently relocating outside of London looks to me symptomatic of the competition in the Capital coming because things are so tough in the rest of Europe.  A Thai girl defaulting on the £150 ph minimum, that has been in place in every other example I have seen for the last two years, looks pretty significant to me.

I recognise that it is difficult to forecast the broader trend from primarily subjective personal experience, but it feels like the market is getting both more competitive and more transparent (as a result of UKP).  That is regardless of whether Monique puts her rates up or Mel drops them down.

I think the £150 price is constant amongst agencies. When girls move to AW prices tend to vary. I have seen some Thai girls start at £110 and quickly rise to £130/140 and others start at £150 and lower it.
