External Link/Members OnlyWas looking for a Friday afternoon punt, Emma had been on my HL for a while. Had rung her and text her in the past but had never got a response. This time I gave her a ring, got a reply and said she was available and asked if I'd been before. As I hadn't, I asked her to text me her address and I would be there in about 30 mins - this was how long it would take me to drive there. This was normal practice for me with a new punt and had never had a problem before, usually getting the address or postcode by the time I got there.
I knew from her profile that she lived in NN3, I know Northampton pretty well so drove to the area.
Once I arrived after 25 mins, I hadn't received the text with her address. So I sent her a text asking for the address. Waited 5 mins, no response. Wasn't looking good. Rang 4 times over the next 15 minutes or so, all went to voicemail - left her a voicemail on 1st one. By this time I had given up, and was pretty pissed off that she had wasted my time and petrol!
Sent her a text saying
"You've wasted my time. Just driven 15 miles. Not happy - its not nice wasting peoples time. Will put negative feedback on UKP" 
About an hour later I eventually got a response by text:
"You didn't have my address to see me - something came up and put on UK punting I will munch screen are texts to show there was no address sent to you to confirm a booking" (whatever that means!)
WTF!! I presume the "something came up" was a longer booking than the 30 mins I had agreed, and her logic that the booking wasn't confirmed because I didn't have her address was bullshit - if she didn't want the booking she could have let me know!
Swiftly removed from HL and number blocked!
This timewaster needs to be avoided!!
