I'm of the opinion that it can be useful to have 'man chat' about various aspects of erectile dysfunction.
However, as this thread highlights, doctor's advice should always be sought and followed.
Having said that different doctors and consultants will sometimes give different advice, plus symptoms, diagnoses and treatment may vary, not least because WE'RE ALL DIFFERENT.

We're all responsible for looking after our own health, and TBF I've also found that it's also useful to seek information from reputable and responsible sites on-line.
GPs and consultants don't always get it right as I've found occasionally.
My experience with combining BP meds with ED meds was problematic.
I had experienced a number of fainting attacks.
My GP was convinced it was due to exceptionally low heart rate. (42 BPM)
She bollocked me for driving to surgery and ordered me to go to A&E, even though I've always had low heart rate.
Long story short, and after a series of tests, I was advised by my cardiologist that it was probably caused by combining my BP meds (Candesartan) with Sildenafil, and he advised me to leave off the candesartan on the day I was using Sildenafil.
In relation to ED, I've seen every ologist under the sun, and through consultations with my local NHS erectile dysfunction clinic I've been offered free prescriptions for a variety of treatments including tablets, penis pumps and injections.
