Meet never happened but Negative from me.
Arranged a meeting 3 days prior by a sequence of text messages, no issues. On the afternoon before the meet, I text and asked if the meeting could be brought forward 30 minutes. I received an affirmative to which I acknowledged.
The following morning (ie the day of), I received 2 texts in quick succession at 9.28am, the first one said, "are you still coming?" and the second texts went into great lengths about how she only does 2 or 3 meets per week and its important that if you are going to cancel to give notice etc and she also said she had asked me to confirm on the morning of the meet. I checked all messages, she had not asked me to confirm, but in my mind I had done so the day before by acknowledging the time change.
Anyway at 9.32am I text back and confirmed I was still coming. The meet was scheduled for 11.00am and it took me nearly an hour to get to her Post Code. At 10.50am, I text to say I had arrived; no response. At 11.00am I phoned; straight to voicemail, so I gave a brief message confirming my arrival. Again no response.
At that point I realized I had been ghosted, so a complete waste of my time. What annoyed me is that she had plenty of time to text back at 9.33am and say, sorry, its off, but she let me drive all the way there and ghost me as a sort of bizarre punishment for not following her rules, (which I had not thought I had broken!)
I sent an e mail later asking for explanation, but guess what, I'm still waiting.
So £150 saved and off my HL she goes.
