Only vaguely firm figures I've seen are around 1000 girls affected over a 40 year period. That would average out to ~25 recruits per year. Assume they average four years that suggests around 100 girls affected at any given time. That's assuming the claims are genuine and not inflated. Whenever I read "independent report" I immediately think "amateurs with unproven methodology".
