Is Locanto legit?

Are the SP's advertising on there legit or is it a bit scammy?

I've always ignored Locanto, preferring AW or Birchplace or even VS but I'd thought I'd take a look and I've found a load of SP's I've never seen before and I'm wondering why they aren't on the more "established" platforms. Is it a cost thing? Is Locanto cheaper?

I'm concerned I'll make a date, get to the place and magic door myself into a room full of big Romanians or Bulgarians..

I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I think its legit.

It may be a bit scammy, as you say.

But, I've never used it myself.

Got lucky only once after atleast 20 tries. It's full of scammers - got scammed last week but it was first and hopefully final. Never pay advance, that's the thumb rule.

How did you get scammed - what happened?

So, quick update.

Curiosity got the better of me and I sent a couple of SP's a message.

They were all very vague, all wanted a deposit, all advertised bareback, wanted to know how soon and for how long without giving me a postcode to work off and got very aggressive when I didn't make a booking (it was the bareback tbh). One threatened to report me to the Police. It must be a thing in Brazil.

Hopes that helps.

I'm off for a Thai massage now to de stress
