Botanic Thai Massage - Belfast

Just a really quick review.

Well established place on Botanic.

Ultimately this is a massage only review so I will mark as positive overall but when it can to the end it was a bit steep for me.

Nice enough place, good massage table.

My massage was an hour for £50, which is about the same as everywhere else. The massage itself was nice, bit light on the pressure but I did ask for a relaxation massage. Overall I was pleased with it.

Then with about 5 mins to go I was offered a HE… No price was asked for, so I said twenty quid? The girl looked surprised… There was no negotiation and the girl said not to worry massage only.

Massage was finished off and as she was leaving she scoffed, twenty pounds!! Standard is 50 extra…

I would have gone to 30 quid but no way to another 50 quid.

Be interested to hear anyone else’s opinion on the “value for money” extra

I agree, £50 is way OTT. Most places I use are still happy with £20.

What's more concerning is that she didn't even enter negotiations, just implied you were a cheapskate. I guess the shock of her off-hand insult would have left you insufficient time for some suitable repartee which would have been deserved.
