Condom broke with an SP on Wednesday, stopped penetration as soon as I realised

Sex with the missus on Friday night, she has some, unusual for her, vaginal bleeding on Saturday. Friday, we did have some deep penetrating sex

What’s the chance it’s an STI, what should I do next?

Do i need to wait to get tested and have no sexual activity until then?

If that an accurate description of what you did that you would have to be very unlucky to catch anything, but it was a mistake to have sex with your wife whilst it was hanging over you. I’d have thought it was unlikely that your wife would show symptoms so soon either.

Do as DD says, but get your wife to the GP without raising suspicion by making a big deal of it.

Your problem is that you won’t show any infection in a test for 2 to 4 weeks.

Well if you can ask the SP involved is she has or knows of anything she might have, bit of an ask but if it's a reg and your on good terms with her?.

But i'd reckon the contact involved and the time for anything to develop is too short as regards an STI.

The bleeding from her, wife, another matter you must have been going at it hammer and tongs but it could have other reasons as to what that is and or did happen i reckon it'd be agood idea to get her to ask doc first what has happened and keep that massive member under a tighter leash!.

Maybe encourge the SP's invloved to get some decent lube as lack of lube natural or other is the most common cause of them breaking.

Well you could do that doc agreeing, but it wont help anythiung viral..

FWIW i hear that some pharmacies will dish out antibotics if you have a good reason for them.

But in general the medical profession is trying to keep them from overuse as sometimes people dont finish the course so the tougher little buggers survive and breed and get stronger

But really best is to see what you might have caught if indeed you have got anything..

It's highly unlikely for symptoms to show the day after contracting an infection. The incubation period for most STIs is 2 weeks.

Its extremely unlikely to have sex one night and bleeding from an sti the following day. Still need checked of course but the chances are almost nil. Sounds like a tear. Dont panic

The correct thing to have done was abstain until you got fully tested.

You've “potentially” put a long term partner in jeopardy.

If not already get tested.

Not sure how’d you’d broach that to her though. Just could be from an overall health check got to the docs who if they deem so could recommend a sti check.

Pretty stupid thing to do knowing the condom broke with a wg. You could have avoided sex with the mrs in any number of ways by feigning illness etc and "don't want you getting the flu over xmas".

As others have said, get to a GUM appt and test.

Never heard of bleeding from an STI, but I'm not a doctor. You went for it with deep penetrative sex, so more likely a tear.

Keep us posted as a warning to others.

Yeh it's wered I know but shouldn't be worried too much.
It's unlikely to spread std after so short time but good idea to get tested and put your monster on hold til the clear results.
About bleeding, it happens to my a long term reg, quite tight and I'm a bit girthy and we enjoy really vigorously action.
Once she said expected her period in a couple of days.
Then on some other occasions just mentioned, Oh you are ruinning me,
Or Oh you smashed it again
Or Oh you smashed my box
So in any case the bleeding was jus a bit, mostly noticeable when remove the condom.
Also it's a good idea to use good quality lubricated condoms...

You should have made some excuse like started say that morning you think you got thrush or eczema on you ball sack. And then would not be open offer. Just give her RO the wife and she your self.  Then you look big and good man. Get your tests done but have a quite diy time. That’s what I use to do only had owc condom for the sex with a wg.

Get tested but your wife is extremely unlikley to have an sti from you. Even if you had the deadliest case of gonorhea from the wednsday then the symptoms in women don’t show up as early as 24 hours bud. But testing puts you at ease. Also incubation period is few days (but as early as 48hrs) so even if you caught it there is a lesser chance you would have been infectious by friday but not impossible. All coincidental timing in my opinion
