Yes I understand why people don't like paying deposits and I was surprised she asked me for one because I don't think the first review mentions one. During the booking she told me that she'd been having lots of cancellations so that's probably why she's starting asking for deposits.

She gave me her bank details and I paid via bank transfer. I didn't do anything to prevent my personal details showing up. A risk I know and I may be crazy but it hasn't caused me any problems so far. I used same method with Yorkshirestripper. It hasn't bitten me in the bum so far.

There might be a slim chance that she'll see you without a deposit. She didn't seem to ask the first reviewer for one. My booking was 2 weeks in advance, maybe if it's a same day last minute booking she'll see punters without one but I wouldn't bet on it. Could be worth a try.
