It's at times like this I am very grateful for this forum and the people on here.

Good to hear you haven’t had any more messages . IMO if you receive texts from different numbers once you block the initial call/message then you have ended up on a targeted list and possibly had said something that gave them hope you would pay out / as others have said if you can change your SIM and I would also add any SIM number to a dark web monitor if you have one as part of a virus protection services

Had my own one of these recentley. Same as everyone else £500 bank transfer or we know where you live, very unlikey they spend all day following you around. In my case they would be waiting days to follow me home  . Whilst I know this to be an absolute outside chance of a scam. Is a little dissapointing to think of the possibility that naturally they got the number from one of girls you see. So whilst I've never had a negative experience with any of them, they are either creaming a little bit of money selling their book on when they are done or not in control of their phone.

If this were a more generally targetted campaign I think we all would have heard of this outside this community by now.

I've had these types of messages from Vivastreet and AW adverts. The one is suspected on AW was British.

Whilst not having had an extortion call. I have in the past had earn extra money spam soon after contacting Thai /  Chinese girls on VS but that was a while back now, last year seemed to end up in a whatsapp relay messaging group and that was definitely after contacting a Guildford Thai number
