The longer version;
Before I start, I will hold my hands up and fully accept that as a seasoned punter I made so many rookie errors it’s embarrassing. I rarely punt nowadays, so I guess I am out of practice.
Ivy bid on my reverse booking, meeting arranged, I arrived at her address at the allotted time and sent her a text. After 45 mins or waiting, she gives me directions and spots me from her window. As it is pouring with rain, I am carrying an umbrella. She starts to tell me that I cannot come into her flat with an umbrella due to ‘trackers’.
She is babbling about trackers and scams and sounds a bit unstable. My instinct is telling me to walk away but I stupidly move forward.
The flat is an absolute tip. She immediately starts babbling about how someone had used his ‘tracker umbrella’ to take naked pictures of her and post them online. Then there was something about being grabbed off the street by Nigerians with an umbrella. To be honest I didn’t understand what she was saying.
Aside from the babbling, she seemed nice and looked ok.
I handed her the money and immediately asked to use the toilet. To which she responded ‘no the toilet is out of bounds, why can’t you hold it’.
Although I had read reviews which mentioned issues using her toilet, I thought this was a thing of the past. After some back and forth she says she suggests I pee in a cup.
I tell her I’d prefer not to and she responds, why not, I am going to do watersports on you anyway. I explain that I had been curious to try watersports but certainly not in a flat without a bathroom/shower. Where would this even take place and how would I clean up.
I tell her to give me back my money, I am going to pop over to the pub, use their toilet and come straight back.
Her demeanour changes completely, and she starts to raise her voice saying, why are you being funny with me? Why are trying to mess me around? Don’t you come into my flat and start wasting my time.
The irony of this statement after keeping me waiting for 45 mins is lost on her but I tell her very calmly that I am not wasting her time, I simply need a pee. However, just like she has had bad experiences so have I, so I am not going to leave her with all the money whilst I leave the flat.
This seems to cause a switch to flip, and she starts to shout that ‘I am getting ready to assault her’ before pushing me and then trying to punch me in the face. I block the strike and ask her to calm down, telling her that if she assaults me, I will call the police.
To which she responds that she will call the police before trying to punch me again and then yells ‘rape’ a few times!!!
I am trying to de-escalate the situation but it was a like a dam broke. First, she starts shouting that I am intimidating her before saying she has beaten up guys bigger than me, that she’ll knock my teeth out and that she could easily take me.
This is followed by; do you know the shit I put up with every day? Men like you coming to my home to abuse me. The abuse I put up with from men every single day. Being abused in my own home.
She then suddenly stops and says just piss in the cup, do the meeting or stop wasting my time. She continues blabbing a little and then says, I am going to call my partner and grabs her phone.
At this point I have had enough, I grab some of the money which is on the table and head for the door. Whilst I am opening it, she manages to clout me over the back of the head with something.
By quite some considerable margin this is the worst incident I have ever had punting. Walking a way I wasn’t even angry just saddened to have been confronted by this very broken human being. I think she is desperate need of some sort of mental health support, and I hope she gets it before it is too late.
