Booked an hour with her the day before.
Comms had been prompt on WhatsApp.
Was on a tight schedule, going on to Notting Hill Carnival.
I was excited about a bit of fun beforehand then I'd enjoy ogling the ladies in carnival, get drunk and generally enjoy myself in the afterglow of punting with a beautiful enthusiastic young Thai girl
So the plan went anyway....


Turned up at the postcode near Goodge Street 10 minutes early and messaged.
Nothing....

10 minutes after the meeting time elapsed I tried calling.
It rang quite a few times then I could tell she'd terminated it.

Followed up with a couple of polite messages before I finally left the area.
Had started to research a plan B but was put on the back foot by the lack of notice and the urgency to actually see some of the carnival

4½ hours later I got a single message
"Sorry I am not feeling well and slept through the day"
Possibly genuine but it wouldn't have taken much effort to send it at the time, or even better before I'd left home

Unlucky. If this was Friday, I had the better treatment of being told that she would cancel due to headache. It was about three hours before agreed punt in the afternoon (prearranged the dag before). Fortunately I had plan b but they turned out a bit meh.

I booked on Saturday for a Sunday lunchtime appointment

She sounds good, but definitely need a Plan B.
