Sorry if this is common knowledge, but found myself with an unaccompanied morning in Amsterdam & stumbled upon
Oude Nieuwstraat which is a small street with 20 or so 'windows' about 10 mins walk from the main tourist RLD and is really discreet in a smart area.
In Amsterdam, the window action is pretty slow in the day, with quantity and quality improving into the evening.
As it was 11am it was mostly the 'mature type' on offer. Quick walk to the main RLD (which is much more diluted than days of old, some of the streets closed and windows gone) it was apparent this was dead.
