Hi, I am after some advice regarding reviewing a recent punt.

About three weeks ago I saw a girl in a parlour in Sheffield whilst travelling to the North-East. It was a 30 minute meeting and perfectly fine as far as parlour punts go. The girl was friendly and the sex was good but after kissing a bit she mentioned that she should not be doing that as she had just had a bad cold.

Predictably the following day I started having symptoms and was soon battling quite a nasty cold whilst trying to complete the work that I had travelled to do. I had the following week of work ill and still have a lingering cough which has derailed my pre-Xmas punting plans.

My dilemma is whether to review the meeting and what rating to give it. If the cold thing had not happened it would be a positive. I am a bit peeved that the girl was working when she probably knew she was still unwell but giving a negative feels a bit harsh as she is likely fully recovered now. I guess is she does not work she does not earn - unlike me who has full payment during my week off.

What would you do in this scenario?

Personally I’d review the punt itself without considering the cold.

You may have picked up the cold elsewhere who knows?

If she’d not mentioned it you wouldn’t even know she’d had a cold either.

Picking up germs is an unfortunate side effect of getting up close and personal with other people.

you could have caught it anywhere, ignore it

Did you work with the cold?

I did but I was installing and configuring equipment without being near anyone else. I also bought some anti-bacterial wipes which I used to clean shared facilities after I used them.

I get that I could have got this anywhere and if I did get it from the girl it is just one of the hazards of punting.

I wouldn't mention it. This time of year lots of people are ill. She's unlikely to have a cold the next time someone sees her, so mentioning it isn't of any benefit to future customers.

You could have caught it from anywhere, but given the circumstances, it could have been her. It happens.

I’d give her an extra star for not cancelling.

I once had BBBJ from a girl running a temperature, it was utter bliss, so warm and soothing.

Well I felt I did and have received some helpful posts which I am grateful for.

Before posting I was 90% confident that I caught the cold from the parlour girl but am now not so sure so will not be mentioning it in a review.

After three weeks of being unwell I wanted to check my thought processes with members and got some good advice.

Be thankful that’s all she gave you.

I’m no doctor but I would have thought it unlikely to show symptoms of a cold the following day after suspected exposure.

I’d imagine you had already caught the cold well before the meet.

Perhaps we should ask the SP if she caught a cold from you?
