+1.  And for that reason, I cannot be traced on social meeja. Nor does my number appear in a search.

Looking at the Saafe thread, had to smile when one reply says: "It also strikes me as a touch nosy to look at their facebook pages."

But then, even they expect us to use another phone/sim as she adds: "They should use a seperate sim to be extra discreet but many don't."


So there you have it.  So why dont guys heed the advice?

I have never had a punting phone, my only phone is a very old Nokia on PAYG, just put my number into Google and nothing came up, I have had that number for over 15 years.

Been several occasions where I wake up desperately wanting a punt, text or ring a few candidates, usually end up having a Jodrell Bank.
Then 2 or 3 days later get a text, "Hi hun I'm free today". FFS   

As useful as Sainsbury's ringing me up and saying, Sorry we didn't have any milk last week but we've got some today!

To be fair, have to admit I know a fair few true identities of hookers I've seen. Some are courtesy of members on here, others are because the daft bitches leave their keycard on view in hotel with all their details showing and lo and behold later they appear on a facebook search.

What strikes me is the double standards of that idiot Amy who runs SAAFE. She is coming across all the holier than thou it too nosey etc but by same token is quite happy to run a site where her members in the main make false and libellous remarks about punters.

It's all been said before, but it wise to have three or four punting phones, numerous email accounts, a few aw accounts you access from different ip addresses and never take any form of Id on a punt. I go so far as check my pockets to make sure no business card is stuffed at bottom pocket. Also always park car out of sight.

I may be paranoid but I get the feeling a lot of hookers actively try to out punters.

The prostitute blacklist thread feeds my paranoia, some of what I read is frightening. Then cross reference with the lies frequently posted on SAAFE and how they always list numbers, I think my paranoia is justified.

Read the prostitute blacklist section. Even those who take precautions re their identity have been compromised. I know of a member her who is having real problems with someone. He has posted about it a while back, I just don't want to mention his name again so as to not stir things up for him if things have quiet ended down for him.

That's true.  yes there are the odd few who do this for their own wacked out reasons but for the majority it makes no sense what so ever as it would lose you so much business.  A client who has been outed by one prossie is no longer likely to be a client to any of the other prossies he sees either so that is going to be lost income

It is the easiest thing in the world to protect your identity from a prossie. That way, when you meet the "raving lunatic", it's irrelevant.
