Having seen a review for this group recently and, as an occasional party goer, I watched some of their videos and felt the urge to see what it was all about.
I booked using their online form, there’s a WhatsApp option and email as well. I can’t say their communication is the best but I got an email confirmation a day or so later and then, as promised, a rough geographical postcode a few days beforehand. It was within easy reach of public transport, there looked to be parking but as one of the attendees said, during event days that whole area is restricted, so if driving I’d suggest checking that the stadium is closed!
My biggest issue was getting out of the house on a Sunday. I forgot to ask but it looks as if Sunday is the only day and they seem to be a once a month event. I don’t know if they do anything else anywhere else but the website is specifically for this event. The theme was French Maids, having changed from Sims after I’d booked but it was a good choice. There is definitely something about a French maid costume.
I got the actual address the evening beforehand and plotted my route. If getting out on a Sunday is tricky then taking a towel with you is even trickier, that’s two ‘why’s’ with little coverage. Anyway, I did it and arrived early. The area looked very respectable but it wasn’t the venue of the previous one, given the landmark references, so they probably move each time. I was able to sit at a nearby bus stop and blend in for 30 mins or so before finally approaching the venue and getting buzzed in.
There was the usual period of looking at all the other clothed men in the room trying to avoid eye contact whilst waiting for proceedings to start. There had been a late substitute for one of the girls. The guy organising it seems very chilled and he was assisted by the fiancée of one of the girls who was offering logistical support. There are three time slots per event and I was going to try to retain some level of anonymity by not mentioning which one I attended but then realised that some of what I will say can only only apply to a specific slot
The girls in attendance were Bonnie, Lexi and the late substitute whose name I didn’t catch.
All three were clearly up for fun and there’s a format, of sorts, to these events. At £100 for about an hour and a half (ish) I would say this was really good value for money.
