Slightly of topic.
Folks that pick up dog crap in the plastic bags, then throw the bags into branches of trees etc.
Why?

Agreed -The plastic is more polluting than the crap which at least can be a fertilizer

Perhaps they were going to pick it up on the way back but forgot ??

Because they're cunts  :diablo:
I've been on country walks where the path has numerous bags of dog shit as if people think it's OK to still leave it lying around if it's in a bag, so not only do you have the dog shit but also discarded plastic  :dash:

It's probably worse in a bag than not in a bag as the weather and things like slugs won't get to it to break it down so it hangs around for an ice age

-and hedgerows decorated with pendant dog shit bags present a particularly unpleasant sight.

it is not a thousand times more - the comparison just doesn't exist I doubt any cat owner picks up their cats crap if they are cats that are allowed out but unlike dogs they do hide their crap
Cat's have embraced the idea of "don't shit on your own doorstep" - they do it next door!
The issue with them burying it is that if you're doing gardening you find it - not nice.

I have to agree about them being cunts - I always pick up my dog's crap, and put it in a bin.
The bags are bio degradable, but yes, they can hang around.
I recently went to Sandringham and they have a "stick and flick" policy (use a stick to fflick the crap into the undergrowth)in their parkland - no bags at all.

I have no idea what % of dog owners pick up their pooches crap in public places but I know its at least a thousand times greater than the number of cat owners that do

I used to have at least 4 neighbours cats crap in my garden - before I got a dog
Take that as a compliment. Cats are quite particular about where they take a crap and like to do it in well maintained environments.
