PoppyEnglish - potential scam?

This lady replied to me by message on AW and whatsapp to arrange a booking.

I booked her on AW and was clicking through too quickly and got charged 50 p for an "excess booking fee"

Since then I have heard nothing from Poppy on AW or message, and she doesnt pick up her phone.

Not sure if that is a scam or not but wanted to put it out there.

Apologies but what did you access/do exactly on AW that meant you got charged? Did you provide your credit /debit card details??

doesnt feel like a scam how ever her last aw ratings were in 2023. thats kind of a red flag

Was the booking confirmed?

I got charged 50 pence on aw credits.

The booking never got confirmed.
It's just an odd situation I wanted to highlight to anyone who comes across her profile.

Moving to discussion board - a booking has to be confirmed before it can be a review. 

Does seem odd though, the 50p thing. Never seen nor heard of that before.

There is a box at the bottom that you can tick, that says notify me by sms when replied to. Theres a cost of 0.99 credits (which I know doesn't add up to 50p), but wondering if that was ticked which would explain a credit charge?

Isn't that a AW charge not a SP charge?
I can understand the frustration though.
