Golfing north of Lisbon in the middle of nowhere with very little obvious outlet for punting.

Did a bit of Googling over the course of a few nights. The problem was trying to figure out what was the best location to search under. Anything in Lisbon was too far away and quickly got a thumbs down by any SP.
Eventually I lucked out on Peniche which was a small town about 20 mins from where I was staying.

Nearly all want a deposit. On a few, after having established contact and chatted etc, they asked for a deposit which I assumed standard. After having paid they then ask for more etc with all sorts of excuses blah blah. Total scam which I chalked up to experience. Nonetheless I had to go and take a long hard stare at myself in the mirror - never thought I’d be stung so easily.
