Before I posted I did do a search that brought up this thread from a while ago
https://www.ukpunting.com/index.php?topic=404393.msg4082622#msg4082622 Hope I have done that link correctly.

I see it seems to be a border area as it were between south east and south west, so I’ll post here first and hopefully will get all answers I need.

Village hotels was mentioned as suitable for outcall in both places

Just want to check if that is still correct and if there any other suggestions?

How about the Doubletree in Southampton? Will be driving and don’t want to be right in centre of either place

Both hotels are close to the M3, with Doubletree being literally at the roundabout so location isn't really all that different between the two - it's a 2 min drive between them. Village tends to be busy during the day so you may find that more discreet, more amenities too with restaurant and coffee shop. I have heard it's easy enough getting to the rooms but haven't had any experience myself. Village tends to be cheaper to book too I believe.

Village Inn Eastleigh is a breeze. 4 hour free parking.
Next to the Asda superstore which has 3 hours free parking.
Lifts are to the left behind reception.
Very busy and never any issues

Think that a lot of hotels must be wise to their 'Day-Use' nowadays.  No questioning looks at reception anymore (helped in no small part by
automated check-in, etc).

I visited the Holiday Inn Fareham (Segensworth, just off Cartwright Drive) this week gone and was pleasantly surprised by the ease
and privacy of it all, except for having to put your registration index onto an ipad on the reception desk.  Plenty of people around but
nobody was asking me what I was up to.

And the household staff in the corridors must be use to hearing all sorts through the bedroom doors all through the day now.  Imagine it
is all good gossip on the tea breaks in the staff rooms.

PS.  Village Hotel on outskirts of Bournemouth by the hospital.... not been for a while, but assuming it is still open?

Yes, Village Hotel Bournemouth is still open and easy to use. Used it a couple of weeks ago through Dayuse, no problems at all.

HS, that's interesting.  Never heard of Dayuse.  Just had a look on their site.  I'll keep that in mind, thanks.
