AW English Redhead Bournmouth/Poole
This is my first review in this area, as most of my punting is done in the NW region.
I was travelling to Poole a few days ahead, so after a few exchanges via e mail I agreed to an hour outcall to my hotel for £180 plus potential taxi fare. As this point communication changed to mobile phone texts.
A Day or two before the meet, I received a text from Red stating that the taxi was going to be £35 ew (£70 in total) and would I mind forwarding that part by Paypal. I had told her the hotel I was staying at, so she knew the distance for travel. As I knew there might be a taxi element I forwarded the £70. (First mistake!).
Correspondence to this point had been prompt, polite and re-assuring. On the night in question, I phone Red a few hours before the meet to confirm everything and having spoken to her, I had no concerns. This is when it goes downhill!
About 40 mins prior to the arranged time, I received a text saying the Taxi Driver would not take card, so would I mind forwarded another £40 via Paypal which I could deduct from the £180. Again, it all seems reasonably genuine so another £40 was sent! (In hindsight this was a mistake as I had already paid £70 in total for the Taxi fares!) About 30 minutes later I received another text saying "I have arrived at ..... "she named another hotel chain".... and whats your room number." I told her that i was actually staying at a different hotel chain. This was her "mistake" as I checked my e mails and I had told her the right address.
"Oh bugger" she replied, I now need another £10 to get from here to your hotel".
Again, I forwarded another £10, and that was the last time I heard from her. She never arrived and despite a couple of calls (to voicemail) and unanswered e mails, she has totally blanked me.
Why go through this charade just to scam me? Well, she got £120 out of me via Paypal without presumably leaving her house!
There are no warnings on her AW reviews and, to be honest, she came across as genuine when I spoke to her. Perhaps this is part of the softening up process.
An expensive lesson learnt!
