Yeah it's one of those where the girl are very good looking but most look young, traumatised and clearly depressed sad to see no matter where you are. best to stick to the karaoke bars/ independants/ soaplands albiet from what i gather soaplands have the "gaijin tax" unless you speak japanese , I did not punt there as I was with my ex at the time but influx of tourists has led to price increases and general distrust of the "gaijin" due to bad behaviour probs best to stick to thailand.
there are always girls dressed like maids/cosplay standing with signs this is what you see in videos with fit looking asian girls stood around.
but they just try to get you to go to semi expensive cafes, they are really fit as fuck and me and my ex did go for a laugh, my ex spoke japanese at N2 level so she spoke to most of the waitresses in the cat cafes very well - Direct quote "nothing sexual happens ever, unless you look like Chris Evans" which lets be honest its like going to normal cafe and trying to pull, if you can't do that here you wont be able to do it there, common misconseption is dudes thinking birds will be throwing themselves at them if they go Japan,
