Being a novice at this I assume going through an agency means you pay a lot but the girls are genuine and look amazing though photoshop'd at times.

Also following AW reviews means girls on that site are fine

Do agency girls also work on AW independently and if so are they cheaper?

Through AW I would have thought an agency girl would want to be more competitive so indepedancy is the way forward. I imagine the agency commission to be a lot.

No it does not mean the girls are genuine.  some agencies will use the girls photos but others wont and will use any photos they have that look great even if it is not of the girl in question.  Many agencies use photos of girls who used to work for them to promote girls who do now but don't look as good.  some use photos of famous models and hope you wont notice if they blur the face.
All Agency means is PIMP.  It doesn't mean a reputable business.  It just means someone who may live in a crappy bedsit has decided to get a few girls and stick up a website.
Some are good and some are bad.  never assume any are either without reading up on them on here first

That's because an Agency charges VAT and deducts PAYE tax and National insurance from the Pro$$ies they send to you, make sure you get a VAT receipt, if they can't provide this then they are likely not dealing with tax / Vat correctly and should be avoided.

Always check the website for VAT registration number.

Firstly an Agency can just be one pimp working from his or her parents back bedroom or from their car, all they need is a laptop and mobile. As proven over many years some Agencies are scamming pricks, some arent. As ever research on here can help locate WGs recommended by punters you find credible who work at Agencies.

In London Agencies simply ensure what punters will be paying is often a minimum of £150 an hour whereas in the North East some Agencies charge less and some punters rate them.

Some Agency WGs are Indies as well, but some are seemingly prepared to only work at Agencies agreeing to pay the pimp an agreed cut of their fees. Sometimes a WG who works as both is cheaper as an Indie, sometimes not. Yes Agencies are popular with some punters though due to their cost not me.

Sites like this and their reviews will prove invaluable to you in your search for reliable girls who are value for money.

Take everything else with a very big pinch of salt and follow the many advice threads on here about checking for fakes and scams like using false pics whether they are agency or indie.

And although some agency girls can be found on AW all that means is they get the whole fee with no agency percentage but some are still dumb enough to try and charge more!

There is actually another alternative in that some w.g.s are now banding together to form small co-operatives (there are several in  the W.Midlands.  The girls have separate profiles on AW, but with a link to a page for the Co-operative Profile; the bookings go through the co-operative, and if the girl you want isn`t available another one will offer.  Lord knows how they divide the takings between them.
