This place is located within about 5 minutes walk of Brentwood railway station and so consequently parking is a bugger. Almost everywhere seems to be either residents only or very limited time. By walking about 10 minutes away from the station, I managed to find a space where I could park for 2 hours, no charge, but it wasn't easy to find.
This is a very smart place tucked off a side street and very clean and well appointed. I phoned ahead and booked a one hour massage and spoke to the very British sounding receptionist who booked me in no fuss. This place is well known to be massage only and no funny business, but I wanted to see for myself.
After a delicious cup of Thai tea I was shown to a very nicely appointed room with the most comfortable looking massage table I have ever seen. I was told to strip off but leave boxers on, which I duly did. The woman who joined me was of middle aged appearance (45+?), but so were all the other ladies I saw working that day. Maybe 3-4 in total.
The massage, which was described as medium, was the most thorough, hardest massage I've ever had. The woman left no inch (well, not many) un-massaged, using hands, elbows, forearms and feet to get into my aches and pains. It was excellent though I did wince more than once.
There was never any hint or opportunity to consider extras, and besides, the massage was so thorough I don't think I would have been capable of anything else!
All in all, an excellent massage which left me thoroughly relaxed and refreshed. The lady told me her name, but it went in one ear and out the other - sorry. I paid £60. It took place about 2-3 weeks ago.
I've scored it positive because I got exactly what was promised, and to a very high standard.
