Author Topic: Anywhere in Leicestershire to buy Neosurf vouchers?  (Read 2214 times)

Offline Charliehutton

I only want to look at some AW private gallery pics, but I assume it's foolish to buy credits with a personal credit/debit card.
I've tried to buy these vouchers online but the transactions are always blocked.
I've tried no end of retailers, but nobody's ever heard of them.
Bitcoin is an alien world to me.

Any ideas?

Have you tried External Link/Members Only

Thanks, Woody. I can't remember which ones, but I went to a number of the places listed in Leicester and Loughborough some months ago, and none of them had a clue, despite that list. Have you ever managed to buy one?

You continue to amaze me Charlie. You sometimes portray yourself as this old world guy not used to technology, but here you are discussing something which may as well  have been in Greek for all it meant to me  :unknown:

Any Asda store where they have a pay point terminal, and the reason on why no body has heard of them, Neosurf are not widely bought from pay point.  The most common voucher bought from pay point are paysafe vouchers

Really? Asda? Thanks, I'll give it a try.

A few years ago I paid for AW credits with 'paysafe' vouchers, but AW no longer accept them, for some reason. I'd never heard of 'neosurf' vouchers either, but they're listed as a means of payment. Apart from using a personal card - which I assume would be unwise - I don't know how else I could buy them.

No, I've never needed to. Hopefully Asda can help you out.

Ive always just paid with my bank card, but I don’t share it with anyone so it’s totally private to me.

But if you’re concerned or worried about card privacy why don’t you just create a revolut account and create a virtual card for the transaction.

Thanks Ip, I'm afraid that sounds way too complicated for me. By the way, I've always assumed that just using a personal card would be unwise, but you seem perfectly relaxed about it. Is my concern about anonymity unnecessary, do you think?

I think keeping your personal details/cards off any adult website is a wise decision.

Just bills as AWS (Amazon web services) I think...  So could be pretty much anything.

I know this because it's how it shows on my revolut.

Can't you just top up a pre paid debit card and use that?

How do you buy a prepaid debit card? I thought they stopped 5 or 6 years ago.

Just a few examples of what's available and there's many more.

Thanks, mf. Sounds like I just have to drag myself into the current century. Much obliged  :hi:

Did you get sorted in the end on this Charlie? Just stumbled across this thread looking for something else - I've bought them before. Like others said, anywhere that has a paypoint sign. You just have to tell them to look for NeoSurf on the machine and they'll find them and print them off. No cashier has ever known what the hell they were before I asked them for it, they need guiding through it :D

I'm afraid not, Rhm. An ASDA travel money card sounded a good idea, but minimum purchase £350, and I only want to look at a few private galleries. You must have met much more intelligent and cooperative cashiers than I have. More than 900 members have read the post now, and not one has been able to name a particular shop where they've bought one, so I've given up.

Offline Coops72

Try the shop between Parkers Garage and the A46 on Wanlip Road no Syston. Come back from Parkers as if going towards the M1 and the shop is on your right.

Offline NickyBobby

I top up the credit on my payg punting phone and then use the AW pay by text option if I want to view private photos. Probably not the cheapest option but discreet

Offline Charliehutton

My thanks to all of you who responded with suggestions, all much appreciated. When the thread was given a new lease of life I took a closer look at Michael Fannymore's suggestions, and went for a Post Office travel money card, which fits the bill perfectly.

It's basically a pre-paid debit card, like you could buy anywhere a few years ago; to load it with  the £50 minimum costs £53, it works on AW, and is the perfect solution.

Thanks again to you all :hi:

I'd say it's foolish to waste your money on private gallery pics.
