As others do, I never use the so-called app if I have to access AW from my phone. It lacks search functionality and other things that I find really useful. The desktop/main site option is fine provided you are familiar with what the search page looks like on a larger screen.

He means the new replacement desktop interface which is gradually being pushed more and more into frontline service. Try to access media or e-mail from the desktop now and you'll get pushed to the new site, and it's awful
