Off to San Diego later this year and wanted to see if anyone had any info on the area? Any good sites similar to AW to use over there? Had a search on here but doesn't seem to be too much info, so is it a bit of a barren area for punting?

For sure.. you get crucified in the states if you get caught. Picture posted online and in the newspaper, etc.

As an American it's a lot simpler for me to hop a cheap flight to Europe where it's legal/decriminalized than take the risk. Cheaper, too.

i just did a quick search on Seeking, within 50 kms of SD and aged 18-35 and there are loads! went down the list to about the 30th of "recently active" and she had been active within the last day. so not sure what you mean?

As you say, there’s plenty of options close to SD.
If you budget $500 and a nice dinner - you should get an overnight arranged pretty easily.
