There seemed to be a lot of new WG turning up at Sandys around 2008/2009
maybe due to the recession.
The best had already left by 2015.
When it closed in 2016 I probably only went in 3 or 4 times that year, whereas circa 2010 I was going almost every week. That’s partly due to my circumstances but the quality had dropped off at least a year before it closed.

Plus they didn’t do parties, whereas the Toucan, TWL, Buntys did.

A lot of parlours used to recycle names of the ladies which helped to provoke a lot of debate amongst us punters! 

The only Angel I remember there was a blonde, curvy, sweet natured creature. She actually used to work at the Bunny Club in Bolton. Might still have some photos of her ad on an old disc somewhere

may have been that way towards the end but it was still a million times better than anywhere else and the girls knew they had to be on their game otherwise management would get rid and the earning potential was gone

Kerry was absolute dynamite, I saw her weekly at Sandys and then when she went Indy. She disappeared from the scene after meeting a guy but returned briefly. Such a lovely surprise when she came back, many great memories with that little cracker.

In my opinion there are 3 reasons the standard has gone down and prices have gone up ridiculously:
1. Adultwork - more and more girls leave/left the parlours and go/went indie to cut the house charges of the parlours, also they can up their charges, its is a no brainer for them.
2. Foreign workers, especially Romanians charging the normal prices that were so to speak, averaged £50 to £60 per half hour, for which they provide a shit service. The Brit girls know this and know that they are more desirable than Roms etc, so there prices go up... Now the Roms prices have gone up averaging £70 to £80 per 30 mins, so the Brits put theirs up to £100 average per half hour....
3. COVID, lots of girls lost a lot of money so prices gone up.
4. We are in a day and age where prostitution is not as taboo for a girl to earn a living in as it was back then, girls these days don't give a shit about what people think of them and there are more and more popping up all the time on Awork demanding silly money as a newbie working girl. Gone are the days of the girls with proven track records of excellent service reports gradually humbly bumping up their prices because they reach superstar status (ie Amy, Alana etc) and have earned the right to do so, these new girls automatically and narcissistically think they are already superstars! Once it used to be all the same prices but the superstars earned more as they had all the bookings, and they were happy with that...
Unfortunately the standard is set now and wont change because punters will pay it instead of going without as we are addicts, and the girls know it. Hopefully the fact that punters will punt less due to the higher costs and not be able to afford it as much, that it may lower prices again slightly in the future but I doubt it very much.
Greed and attitude has taken over this game boys!

You trudge home with a massive hole in your pocket and promise yourself its not worth the money. You consider dropping down a few divisions and whilst you're happy to be paying bargain basement prices, it's not quite the same as the old days when it cost fuck all and it was all tight shorts and perms...
Also trying to get rid of the smell of the half time bovril and meat pie is just as impossible as trying to rid yourself of the stank of a WGs snatch as you're heading home to the mrs.

I was a regular at Sandys between 2010 and 2014 you couldn't go wrong there was so many good girls on the rota. The price would definitely be higher now of course but for the quality reliability and convenience I'd definitely be happy paying more.

I think sandys was a posiitive influence for punters as it held prices down for the whole North West.  If punters knew they could go there and get a great service from a hot girl for £100/hour then there was no way that the agencies or indies could compete and try to charge London prices.  I think other parlours used to use sandys as their reference point for what fees to charge

Now the AW indies are £160 upwards for the same service.

They were all technically illegal as they were all brothels. Plod just turned a blind eye towards it for a long time.

2006 - 2016 I visited Crewe and I asked for directions to the office and some chap first gave me directions to a massage parlour, and then 3 more. Eventually someone gave me proper directions. This was before Satnavs were common.
