Well, this was a couple of weeks ago, before the link stopped working.
I had put this SP into the discussion group, to see if anyone had any info on her. Some said go for it, most said swerve!
Anyway, thought I would chance it. There is always something chancey about taking a punt on Viva Street!
External Link/Members OnlyAnyway, texted around 10 for a 1300 meet. Got a reply straight back explaining prices etc. I agreed and asked for the postcode. All good so far. On the drive, I am about 15 minutes away and I get a text saying she is running late, can we put it back by 10 minutes? Not a problem I thought, gives me a chance to scout the area out and look for some discreet parking. Replied yes and asked for the door number, which she gave me and I said I would knock at the agreed time.So, got to the postcode, must admit, it looked a bit dodgy. But, thought maybe it will be ok?
Waited for the correct time, started walking up to the property and I see its quite near a shop and rather exposed to the road up some steps. House looks like it's seen better days, so nervously knock and try and pretend that I am not too concerned by the passer bys who are giving me a look over as they walk past. No answer. Knock again and no answer. Getting a bit concerned now, try phoning. She answers and starts going off on one that her boiler has broken down and she was just sorting it, give me one minute she says. Now, what happens next may have been an accident, but as soon as I put the phone down, I heard loud music being played in a car that was approaching my direction. A red Audi then pulled up directly outside the house and bear in mind that there is plenty of parking available, I decided that this was my que to leave very sharpish like. I didn't give the guy a chance to get out the car as I was gone and on my way.
5 Minutes later I get a text I am ready.
6 Minutes later are you still coming?
8 Minutes later I take it you aren't coming?
The car could have been a coincidence, but I didn't want to find out.
