Having had a look at some previous posts I am struggling to find some decent information on the punting scene in Vietnam.

I have a trip coming up to Vietnam - Hanoi and could do with some guidance and information on the do’s, don’ts and where to go! I expect it will be vastly different if my experience of Bangkok and Singapore ( disappointing since the absence of Brix)

I understand Vietnam is generally conservative and Hanoi even more so .. so all the more reason to help your UKP friend!

Can't offer much advice but download telegram I've had success with it in various VN cities

Even I was a bit stumped .. never thought about vietam.. everyone talks about Thailand, Singapore etc .. but nothing on Vietnam .. makes me thing maybe there is good reason .. there is not much happening there

I went to Vietnam about 5 years ago. Stayed at a beautiful seaside city in a flat. How did this 82 year old find happiness, you may ask. Easily.

I went to a bar with some young guys I know from Liverpool who had suggested I come to Vietnam. There  people were playing pool which seems very popular in Vietnam. There were quite a few very attractive young ladies there. I ended up staying with one for a week.

One high point was spending all might out drinking with a very attractive lady who I think controlled a lot of the action there. She was very powerful. When we went at midnight to have a meal at the best hotel on the beach the kitchen was closed. They opened it for us.

Another memorable time was riding on the back of my young friend's motor scooter in the blinding monsoon rain. Terrifying  as nobody pays any attention to traffic lights or for that matter what side of the road they are on.

I have been very lucky in my life - worked in over 50 countries. But Vietnam was remarkable; much more fun than Thailand.

I visited Vietnam earlier this year and visited both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City , drew a bit of a blank in Hanoi but had lots of fun in Ho Chi Minh City , Check out Little Japan and Bui Vien (walking street) . Lots of massage places in both areas,little Japan is a bit more expensive but the women are the best looking I’ve ever had the pleasure of ,1750000 dong for massage and full service here .Bui Vien street has bars and massage shops, I had  a massage and a blow job here for 1000000 dong in various massage shops, I didn’t bother with the bars. I hope this helps. Enjoy Vietnam it’s a magnificent country.

in Hanoi I tried a couple of Gaito Girls, experience wasn’t that great, they were a bit goofy most of the time.
