Booked a meet with Sarah via AW for 2 days later at 11am. When she agreed to the booking, I asked her what confirmation she needed. She asked me to confirm on the morning of the meet. I did so via AW message as a phone number was not provided then... nothing. I sent her a couple of messages asking her to contact me including a final " I've run out of time, I'm not going to be able to make the meet now so I'll have to regard this booking as cancelled". Still nothing. Then later that evening I received a message apologising and offering a booking for the next day which I was unable to accept.
I decided to give her another chance, and messaged her for another booking a week later. This was again accepted. I suggested we make an AW booking so that we could leave each other feedback and her reply was "message me on the morning to confirm and then we will do the booking". The morning of the booking arrived and I messaged to confirm, and then... nothing. Again. I sent her a couple of messages giving a time beyond which I would regard the booking as not going ahead and a final message to say that I regarded the booking as cancelled. I then made alternative arrangements for that afternoon. About 45 minutes later, she sent me a message which seemed to suggest that she had forgotten all about the booking, and when I replied to say that I was following her instructions to confirm on the morning, she said "I replied when I could, the appointment isn't until 3". Don't forget that she had said that I should confirm on the morning, and that she had already let me down once.
The booking did not go ahead and I wasted a fair amount of time sorting it out. Unfortunately my alternative wasn't a lot better (review coming).
