This had been on my bucket list for a few years. I’ve traveled to Poland a couple of times before, but not punted there due to circumstances. I also have a particular liking for tall slim Polish girls as well as petite and cute polish birds, just Polish birds generally. So as I had some time off work, travel was opening up again and low flying costs I bit the bullet. I did some research before going, but in truth learned a lot more while there. I know there are a lot of guys here that are more knowledgeable than me, but this is my experience and maybe it will be useful to anyone planning a trip there.
Krakow
I’ve read before that Krakow isn’t the best bet for WGs, with Warsaw apparently having much more choice and therefore more good WGs. But Krakow was extremely cheap to get to and, having been there previously, I know it’s a lovely city with lots of good bars, restaurants and places to see. In truth I’d expected the punting chances to be few and far between and if it was going to fail Krakow is a pretty good place to be. What I didn’t know was Krakow has an excellent craft beer scene, with lots of bars offering beer from local microbreweries, which might even be more of hobby than punting is to me. Prices there are also excellent. I paid £20 per night in a pleasant guesthouse in the old town, the cost of a pint was between £1.50 and £3 (there’s probably a lot cheaper but I stuck with the craft beer bars which were probably the top end of the scale). Local food is good and again cheap, with a good meal in a cafe bar costing about a £6 with two courses and a beer. The local female population are also extremely attractive. Every bar that I went into was staffed by slim blonde 23 year old girls and at the weekend the customer base is pretty similar. Krakow is a university city, so maybe the student population accounts for this.
I also found Krakow to feel very safe. I was never hassled by touts, though being solo and never dressing up for a “night out” I doubt I looked like the typical stag do tourists that are targeted. Safe as it is obviously use common sense. There’s always a chance of pickpockets wherever you are so don’t carry all your cash and cards, and use a punting phone if your heading out for a meeting with someone you don’t know. I used an old reset Phone 8 with the local sim and it was perfect. Help with navigating, browsing WGs, texts and if it did get nicked I wouldn’t have been out of pocket.
One word of caution is that I was told to avoid strip clubs. There are a lot of stories online of clubs scamming customers by charging huge amounts to their cards and even drugging them. As much as I take what I read online with a pinch of salt I was also warned to stay out of them by a local bar owner than I ended up having an after hours beer with.
Going native (get a local SIM card)
Having punted quite a lot in Spain I have found that using a local SIM card both saves money by avoiding roaming charges and gives you a much better chance of successfully contacting local WGs. This is pretty easy to do but it’s worth noting that anti terrorism laws in Poland mean that a PAYG sim has to be registered to the user. This means going into an approved store with passport or ID card and having the SIM card registered in your name. No problem for me, but having read some very paranoid posts here before I image some would object. I didn’t know all this before I went and the guy that sold me the sim was unable to register it, so I wasted about an hour trying to find somewhere that could do it. Next time I’d head straight to the large shopping mall just outside the old town and go to one of the phone network stores to save running around.
From my Spanish travels I decided not to use Google translate for text. In Spain found it easier to text in English and avoid having to call a girl at her building only to find communication was impossible. Either way texts were rarely replied to, calls were almost always answered and speaking English was never an issue (I filtered for English speakers on Roksa). Few girls were willing to take advanced bookings, with almost all asking me to just call half an hour ahead.
City travel
Most WGs in Krakow are in the residential areas outside of the centre so taxis or busses are required. Everyone warned me about taxis ripping off tourists, but I stuck with the official cabs at the rank and had no issues. The 15-20 minute ride from where I was to my favourite WG cost between 20-27 zloty, between £3.70 and a fiver. Only once was I shafted (well.. we’ll discuss that later) when I flagged a cab on the street for the return journey and the price was double. Still I was ripped off for £4, so I didn’t lose and sleep over it.
Local buses are also excellent, along with Google maps telling me where they went. I’m not entirely sure how much they should cost, as you paid at a machine on the bus which was a bit beyond me, but I paid about 4z for the return trip to the old town, about 70p.

Odloty has very few listings for Krakow, but many more for Warsaw. Every girl listed on Odloty is gorgeous and dirt cheap, which really makes me doubt how genuine a lot of the ads are. I have read that bait and switch is extremely common in Poland, so that makes sense. I used Roksa, which is pretty well set out. It allows you to search each city by region and also filter for age, price, language spoken and, crucially, verified SPs. I met with four girls from Roksa, all verified, and all girls matched the photos that were listed. That said the quality of service varied massively.

I had heard of this and searched for it but found a different site with a very similar name. The site I found seemed to be mainly guys placing classified adds looking for girls. Being an idiot I assumed these were the same site, I couldn’t make head or tail of it, so gave up. Frustratingly two days before I left I noticed a link to the correct site on my favourite Polish WGs own site. It’s entirely in Polish and, despite opening it on an iPhone 13, I couldn’t get it to auto translate. After spending an age copying and pasting pages and pages to translate I managed to register as a user, only to get a message which, when translated, told me that new users typically don’t get access to view reviews for several days. Moral being if you want to uses this forum register early and spend a bit of time working it out.

If you want to shag a variety of pretty girls that give good service then Malaga, or Spain generally, will be a much safer option.
