So CityFibre taking on the digital rollout where I live, yet only three companies are available through their website - really thought there'd be more tbh, main question though is in the areas where they've been part of the set up for a while do the deals get better?

It's hard to say as I think CityFibre are relatively new everywhere!

You're lucky pal. We've had IX Wireless (6G Internet Ltd) around our neck of the woods and they're pissing people off as they use telegraph poles to carry the cable (rather than dig underground) and then connect to 15m steel masts dotted around the community.

Bt are doing this in my area, and a lot of pavement getting dug up

Cityfibre did my area a year ago inc the pole where my tel+broadband is connected but still no sign of any Fibre availability and Cityfibre dont respond to e mails

so if this is how they treat prospective customers .......

I dont have a long enough bargepole

They laid the cables in my area in the summer of 2021 and it went live at the end of last year. Currently there are fourteen different providers listed for my postcode on the City Fibre website. Monthly prices range from £19.50 for speeds between 150 and 930 Mbps to £37 for speeds between 160 Mbps to 1Gbps. I reckon they roll out more options as it goes live.

I will look to move to City Fibre when my current broadband deal ends.

City Fibre did their work near us around 18 months to 2 years ago. Deals/providers were slow to be added but once Zen came on board I went with them. They are great and the only Which recommended broadband provider.

Zen are an excellent provider one of the best if not the best! They arent on the shitty fire net in this area as yet but if and when they are we'll switch but their fine on fibre to the cab for now.

Mate is on city fiber with Voodofone  not the best provider but after some faffing around its now working OK gets a Giga bit up and down!..

Community fibre is very good. I pay about £18 a month for 500mbps. Got it on a black Friday offer but they are still offering £100 free amazon voucher -
