Popped to this place on the way back after a night out. It is full of working girls and golfers/business people and open from 10pm - 4am.

The way it works is that you just give a girl you like a smile and they’re generally straight over to get you to buy them a drink (€15). Then it is into the chat about what you are looking for and a price. Most start off offering an hour for €200-€250 but you can generally get them down to €150. Lots of Brazilians and a few Russians, and Google translate is needed to communicate the finer detail. In contrast to previous visits, the ones I spoke to said they had somewhere we could go five minutes away. I nearly sealed a deal with a Moldovan girl in her early 20s but she didn’t offer DFK so I declined.

Be warned it is not for the faint hearted and some girls will come and sit next to you and stroke your leg etc, so you do have to be polite but firm if you are not interested in them.

This year I noticed there were are also a few WGs on the street outside Cats from midnight onwards, so be prepared to be approached on your way home.

Yes. It is a bar but no-one in there is unaware that it is a pick up joint for WGs. There are no couples - it is mainly men on their own, and about 15 - 25 WGs, depending on what time you go. The WGs even have a card which they show at the bar to get a drink. So presumably the bar is in on it. I am not sure if the girls get a cut of the cost of the drink. I’ve been there a few times now, so my experience is not just based on one visit.

Been there a few times over the years. I found the quality of the girls were about a 4 -6 but subjective of course. The card the girls used for a drink is that the girl has to pay to enter the club. If they get a certain number of stamps they get their entry fee back. Hence they push you for a drink. The cheapest is 10 Euros for a drink but some ask you to buy the more expensive option.

If you are on a loose end and need to scratch that itch you could go late in the evening and see whats on offer. If you dont have a place to go to, they will most likely take you to the hotel above the club. I have not been to the hotel but does look shabby.

I have not seen a similar place in the Algarve unlike other joints where they fleece you for expensive drinks etc and you end up paying 100s of Euros and maybe get a stip/lapdance.

That is useful info, I didn’t know that.

It is good because the cost is low and it feels like a relatively safe environment. You can also just sit and watch the comings and goings.

The hotel above is the Luna Olympus. Not been myself but the online reviews are mixed and I have seen some chat about it being used by WGs.
