I am surprised with all who defend bad maids. I am spending my hard earned money and don't expect to be treated badly. Same as I don't expect to to rudeness when I go in to a shop. in this instance Annabel's lost a client. I am sure they won't go bankrupt because of that. But I happily spent my money elsewhere that appreciated my custom. I do hope Apple got another client to replace me as it was not her fault

The fact that you called late will make you appear unreliable to the maid, so she will be wary or even unwilling to let you book again and the maid would be quite right. I am sure they have more than enough SSs who are able to book and correctly follow their confirmation process.

If you follow their rules you can build a good relationship with the maid and then when you text for a book she will prioritise yours over those of unknowns as she knows you are trouble free and reliable and that is really what every business wants.... trouble free, reliable, cash paying customers.

Escorting requires a fair amount of trust to be built:

- Trust from the SP that you are a genuine SS
- Trust from the SP that you'll turn up for your booking and not waste their time
- Trust from the SP that you'll follow their pre booking, on booking and post booking rules and procedures - confirming your booking, texting or calling on arrival, being discreet when you turn up and leave, parking discreetly, not pushing boundaries on a booking, having the right money with you ideally at the beginning of the booking and generally not being a twat.

If you fail to follow their rules and procedures then it makes alarm bells ring with the SP or the maid and makes them worry about what you'll be like at the booking e.g. if you called 1 hr and 15 mins late to confirm the booking, then will you turn up late or continue being troublesome?

In some cases they may said sod it and bin you and replace your booking with one from an easier to deal with individual.

It's entirely up to you how you behave, but if you want to maximise your chances of seeing the SPs you'd like, then just follow their rules and procedures. The SPs have the rules and procedures for a reason and sometimes those reasons aren't immediately obvious to you, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't follow them.

To name a few I have booked in advance with the Osterley crew, Skyline, Elverson, Olina, New Malden, Kri Han, some other Bayswater Thai lot, numerous indies of various nationalities and none have needed me to reassure them in the morning. 

Always interesting to read your well informed & articulated posts LLP.  For my London punting on the other hand, morning confirmation has been required for 100% of my advanced bookings - whether it be HoD, Diva, the one AW lass I've prebooked, or even a brothel lass who'd gave me her number so we could arrange visits to mine.   Maybe they dont insist on it with yourself as you come across very trustworthy once folk have met you in the flesh. Wish I was the same.  I guess it's no bother with Diva & indie lasses as only takes 10 secs to send a txt/ what's app or email.  But with outfits like HoD /MKE/ Annabelles who like to do everything by voice it can waste 15 mins+ if their lines are jammed...

All you say seems all true, but in fairness it seems like the OP already gets most if not all of that.  He apologised the first time the maid criticised him.

His complaint was he didn't like how the maid was repeatedly harsh to him - even after his apology.  The old "sticks and stones  will break my bones, but words will never hurt me" saying is bullocks.   Or at least it is for some.  Wars have been started over harsh words, they can affect some people a lot.  There was no need for the maid to be repeatedly harsh once she'd made a point.

Having met the maid we're talking about, I'm sure she wasnt like that as she's nasty,  she seemed really nice. Was probably just stressed from being on the phone all morning & upset on behalf of the girls as she knows how bad some of them feel when they get late cancellations.  But she was still out of order IMO.

I haven’t seen anyone defending “bad maids”. What I have seen is most people correctly stating that this was your own fault. You agreed to call by a certain time but failed to do so. You say the maid was rude but, given the sense of entitlement you have displayed in your posts, I wonder if you didn’t bring it on yourself? By your own account, all she did was tell you that you should have called earlier. You also say you were “pissed” so I doubt if your own attitude was above reproach.

If its an evening booking made in advance of the day I'm happy to have a confirmation by 1pm for example , if that's what works for my client, as long as we agree a time to confirm by and that happens then all is good, if he's very late confirming then the booking might not happen.

What I'm saying is a confirmation on the day of the booking is a very common place working practice.
