External Link/Members OnlyMajor mistakes by me all along but thankfully no harm was done in the end, was checking on AW and only found this profile who was available when I was looking. Went to check for reviews on UKP but unfortunately because my new punting sim had an adult content block on it, I was using a VPN so couldn’t log into UKP. I thought British girl on AW with feedback can’t be that bad, so text her and booked 15 mins for £50 and had the address sent to me.
Got to the terraced location in Fenham, not the best but it was dark so I had a sense of some anonymity. Texted to say I was there and got the door number. Thankfully parked quite a distance away and as I got close to the door number I was saw another 2 lads (early twenties) were banging on the door quite vigorously. I continued to walk past and spied a takeaway across the street so went straight there and started looking at the menu whilst also glancing back at what was happening.
No one opened the door but a blonde girl came to the window and after gesturing something went back inside. The two youths stayed outside pacing around the door and window and general area. I sent her a msg to say there’s other people at your door to which I got no reply.
I went into the takeaway picked a menu up and walked straight back to my car at which point there was about 4 people standing outside her door. I got in my car and thanked my lucky stars and got home with no harm done.
Only now have I checked UKP and saw all the negative reviews, which I wish I had seen earlier and saved myself the drama.
Now I have no idea if this was some set up in which I was about to lose my £50 and any other valuables or if the wg was having some personal or work problems which I almost was caught up in (in the latter scenario a msg to tell me to stay away and cancel my booking would have helped). Either way a massive negative from me and a very scary scenario which will mean I will continue my self imposed punting ban
