Totally agree Charlie in everything you have just said. If you fancied a trans why choose someone who so closely resembled a woman ………. just choose a woman. My guess would be that just knowing they used to be something different titillates some people.  The thrill of something taboo is often as much in the mind as it is in it's physical manifestation.  Some guys might find fucking someone's wife a lot more of a turn-on than if the lady was (to their knowledge at least) unattached.  Same woman, different thrill.
