So I stupidly sent someone £200 to help out with their holiday before the meet, rookie mistake I know I shouldn't have done it, they cancelled the meet and now they're refusing to send my money back and have blocked me etc

Sent her another £150, she cancelled the meet yesterday and offered to pay me back, sent her my details, blocked, no money back

Tell me what on Earth possessed you to part with £200 upfront?  That’s hardly a “deposit” for an hour’s meet.  I’m wondering if there’s more to this tale?  Have you met her before?

As others have said “Never pay a deposit”.  We live and learn.  Hope you get a result with the police.  If nothing else she’s now red-flagged here, not that many would’ve booked her anyway (BB’er).   

The profile and gallery pics alone would’ve put me off big time -  photo of kid, kids games etc. Very, very tacky and low class.  Speaks volumes about the type of person she is.

I’m puzzled as to what the OP saw in this profile to part with such amount of cash.

Thanks for calling out this skank, OP. A couple of things to consider going forwards.

- I think it unlikely you'll see your money again (but worth trying nonetheless) so the best you can do is to hurt her business. This review is a great start. Perhaps you could give her some feedback on AW as well.

- In the other thread you said you thought seeing a BBer would be ok if you used a condom. I don't think thats' great mitigation although I would agree it's probably lower risk than going bare. However, remember to factor in whether you would want to kiss her or let her do OWO. She'll will have blown guys who do BB with other SPs.

Yes, it pretty much does have to be via AW, but it works both ways, doesn’t have to be the BB’er who leaves the punter feedback.  He could have left f/b for the BB’er and it would still red flag him to other SPs as having seen a bare-backer.

OP - thanks for the warning but there are some lessons for you to learn.

1)Never pay a deposit because risk of being scammed, or even worse outed/blackmailed are high.
2) Never see or be associated with a barebacker. Not worth the risk.
3) Never ever pay a deposit to a barebacker. If she doesn’t care about herself and others from the risks of unprotected sex, she is hardly going to care about legal ramifications of scamming a couple of hundred quid.

In her mind she may feel she is entitled to the money from previous cancellations, and legally she may have a reasonable case that would need to be heard. Certainly not one I would want to challenge in public.
