Is finding a good reliable punt really that difficult?

A Quick Look around the region pages shows that about a third of all reviews show as Negative or Neutral with tales of B&S, no shows and just out and out shit shit boring punts.

I’ve only been doing this for about 6 months and seen in total well over a dozen different providers and the significant majority of them have been excellent so it got me thinking why do punters take chances when their is such a wealth of information out there to pick and choose reliable girls?

For some is it the thrill of the unknown or unexpected or is it laziness in not conducting the right amount of due diligence.

These are the girls I’ve seen and pretty much all well reviewed and as a result delivered as expected. I’m at the point now where I am just seeing the best of these girls on rotation with my eye on a small handful of providers I’ve yet to see.

The only slight blots on the copy book have been a couple of quite boring massage experiences but cheap £60 experiments and a couple of average meets with young South American girls that were again both 30 minute cheap meets to see if I’d enjoy them (but I dint like the lack of conversation and engagement with the language barrier) plus a punt on holiday just for the sake of it (again a very cheap punt).

All the rest have been VERY good. So back to my question why do people take the risk and spend £100 plus on the unexpected? Or am I just boring and playing it safe?

I'm thinking the same. I had a few disappointing bookings last year and I was just shagging because I had an opportunity rather than I was horny. This year I am being a bit more selective.  I read the reviews of SPs on here and read between the lines and often decide that it's likely to not be great, so I pass on many SPs. It's a little boring, but hopefully it will result in less disappointment.

I too am a very risk-adverse punter. However, I do recognise that we should be very grateful to those punters who are prepared to TOFTT and risk their time and money. Without them, the review sections would dwindle down to the same old SPs and we would never find anybody new.

Also, there is a strong tendancy for punters to review SPs who have no/few reviews as these are seen as more useful. This doubly applies if the review is negative and punters need to be warned off. However much it is said that all reviews are important, even if an SP has dozens already, it is understandable if people don't rush to review well-reviewed SPs.

From your lack of a question mark you are making a statement and a judgement that it's our fault if a punt isn't a positive one?

Apologies if it came across that way it wasn’t intended and like it’s been stated in a response if everyone had my approach wouldn’t have the wealth of info that we have. Someone has to go 1st right?

So I’m grateful but was asking more from a motivation point of view.

i think it depends on a number of factors including where in the country you are and what your individual "likes" or "wants" are.

I am fairly vanilla in terms of the actual sex but i am very picky on body shapes and what i find attractive. I look at many pics on here about "best this" or "best that" and usually think "no, she is awful" i like slim or petite and absolutely not fake boobs, fake lips or huge asses. Add in my age preference of under 30, my requirement for owo and where i live in the SW and there are few WG's that appeal to me.

so i would answer you question by saying "yes, for me, it is difficult to get a good reliable punt locally".   

some guys rarely see the same girl twice - so for them there will always be more of a risk of a less than positive punt and of course because i see someone and have a good experience with them, there is no guarantee that you will.

Thanks and yes you raise valid points. I too am pretty vanilla in my punting likes and beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder. I think the devil is in the details of reviews too. A string of greens but with a tinge of indifference in the girls appetite for sex is also a red flag for me.

If I have 24 good punts with 3 girls, and one bad punt, I will review the bad one every time.  If the other 3 are new to me, that is 3 reviews at most.  But if they are repeats that I reviewed less than 18 months ago, I might not review again at all.

So if you see 3 positives and 1 negative from me, that does not mean that 25% of my punts are shit. It might be 4%.

As in everything else in life, it depends on what you want. If you want straightforward sex I think UKP is brilliant. If you're a deranged old perve like me it is also a damn sight better than ploughing through Adultwork. That's unless you come across the kind of buffoon who recently wrote that one woman offered something special but he wasn't going to reveal what it was. God protect us from morons!

Although not normally a Northern punter, I've punted two of the lovely ladies on your list (Antonia and Candy Carla) and wholeheartedly agree with your high scores for them both. Antonia especially is a gem who I would never have found without the help of UKP.

Wow! What a way to lose your punting cherry! I wish Antonia had been my first punt. Just to warn you that they won't always be as good as that! I've only seen her a couple of times as unfortunately I no longer have a viable excuse to be wandering around Central Leeds.    Glad that my review was helpful. As I said earlier, I'd've never found her to review without the help of UKP. Happy punting!
